Melody with a touch of madness. Playing mostly Jean-Michel's new original compositions (as well as some originals by Renee), this band bears the unique personality of its leader and pianist, while displaying a special kind of chemistry between its members. Songs become trips and adventures, melodies are surprising yet natural, and the color of the music spreads organically from Renee's voice, amazing in its range and instrumental quality.

Accessibility info: Upstairs Jazz Bar is located near McKay and St Catherine. There are four steps down into the venue and manual doors. The washrooms are located up four steps. Washroom doors are manual and there no stalls with guardrails. Washrooms are not unisex and there is no changing station. Upstairs has plenty of seating available: low chairs with backs, booths, and bar stools with backs. Some street parking is available and a street level pay parking lot is just down the street. The closest metro station is Concordia, two blocks away.

Mélodie avec une touche de folie. Jouant principalement les dernières compositions de Jean-Michel (également quelques unes de Renée), ce band porte la personnalité unique de son leader et pianiste, tout en affichant une alchimie particulière entre ses membres.

Les chansons deviennent des voyages et des aventures, les mélodies sont surprenantes et pourtant naturelles, et la couleur de la musique se propage organiquement de la voix de Renée, fascinante dans son étendue et sa qualité.
